Nice work, I don't know if this was copied from a reference but your replication of the ambience of the fire is very well done and the time you spent on this piece shows. Keep up the good work! I'd like if the zoomed in version here a higher resolution though

Snakebreath responds:

It was a copy from a random picture on google, I actual began it as a simple fire study, but it started to look really nice so I rendered it a bit and came up with this, glad you like it!

Very cool armor design! Your proportions are a little off and could use some work, but it's not a major problem. The overall image is well balanced and well shaded. I recommend taking care in optimizing the image digitally before uploading since you want the contrast and clarity balance to be good. Keep up the good work :)

Vladislow responds:

thanks Jazza to response. I really appreciate it) I make some ( 7 or 8) different photos and that was two really nice, but first have a piece of table but good quality, second (uploaded) have a good view but quality have a little limp. ( I hope write all this text right, good luck and again, thanks for review)

This is a good first digital image! Nice linework and colors and an interesting creature. I look forward to seeing what else you create :)

AlexThePea responds:

Thank you!! :D

I like the cutout style and simple use of the cel shaded color, it's cute and clever. Your linework around the body could use some improvement, but that aside, you've done well, keep it up!

Nice work! This pic has a cool feel to it, nice cool colors, the grainy painted style adds to the aesthetic, and the composition is well done. The female figures proportions could be a little more solid and refined, but it's not a detrimental flaw, just something minor. Keep up the good work!

StartConnexions responds:

Thank you, I appreciate your advice.

Nice work, clean colors, lovely expression and facial proportions, if anything the painting feels a little soft and could be sharper on the edges, but overall it's quite nice, keep it up :)

MissLace responds:

Thanks for the review Jazza! Great advice as always :)

This is a very visually interesting piece! Your use of color is fantastic, and though the form of the face is a little less than solid, it fits the style well and is not hindered by that. Your application of texture and detail is particularly impressive and the whole thing is really nice, so keep up the great work!

OK OK you're right, it seems there can be some good results using an iPad.. I would just never do it myself, I don't have the patience. This is a great pic, I hope your wife loved it! You did a really really good job in drawing the proportions and pose. The colors are good and the composition, while a little off-putting because of the asymmetry, is good too. The female form and anatomy is the best part, good work. Keep it up! (even if it is on an iPad... sigh)

Great work for a first digital painting! You have talent, I'd like to see what else you can do. Nice use of colors and shading and a good replication of the original pokemon image. Keep it up!

Meznay responds:

Cheers man, means a lot, im gonna keep practicing :D might try another Pokemon haha.

Great work! Clean lines and color, great proportions and style, you're talented for sure. Thanks for the shout-out and kind words, it means a lot to me :) Keep up the great work, your style is really cool man
