OK you made me smile. You get credit for that. The image could technically be more interesting and refined, but that's not as important in this case and the humor, thanks for the PM and kind words, keep it up!

As a general rule when I first see an image submitted to my showcase, if I chuckle, it's gonna get a good review! Reason being, I se a lot of similar images, but the ones that invoke a response mean they've caught me off guard and given me something I haven't expected. This one made me chuckle, it's cute and funny, and well drawn. Your forms could be more solid which comes with time and practice, but overall it's great, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for reviewing my artwork and im glad you like it!

Very nice for a first concept piece, your painting is great for a beginner, and the idea is done well. I don't think i've ever seen a humanoid owl and you've communicated the concept very well! The form could be a bit more solid, so there's still stuff to improve on, but it's clear you have some talent so keep up the good work :)

Snakebreath responds:

Thanks! I plan on doing lots of studies this summer on form and anatomy before heading into a 2 year animation course, so I hope to improve lots.

Well, those are definitely some boobs right there! The proportions are off in some key places though, namely the torso, the eyes are asymmetrical, etc. That aside, your colors work well and the lines are solid, keep it up

Your linework is clean and smooth and the character has good form, my only complaint is that the image lacks interest overall, and the background feels a little too cheap. That aside you have some obvious skill with your linework and technical execution so keep up the good work!

This is a lovely balanced image. Clean and rich colors, FANTASTIC optimization into a digital image (this is where 90% of traditional artworks fall short when submitted to me), and lovely image composition. The image overall is simple and could stand for some more interest but otherwise you've created a really well done and aesthetically pleasing image, thanks for sharing!

Nice work! The composition is definitely interesting and you did very well with the female form, so great work, keep on challenging yourself! The coloring is a little cloudy and could be more solid, but stylistically you've done really well, keep it up!

Thank you very much. Hopefully you will see more improvments in my next one for artist showcase

Nice work! For your first tablet drawing you're doing very very well! You have extremely steady lines which is something many people struggle with, especially when they're new to using tablets. Your coloring is nice, though a bit cloudy, it could afford to follow the form more to give a stronger sense of solidity. The composition is good too, but with the hand so directly facing the camera and with such strong forshortening, the hand should be much larger. Overall great work, keep it up!

Nice work, simple and symmetrically pleasing. The form is a little flat and it's quite apparent that it's mirrored, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how its pulled off. Overall, a nice balance and good job, thanks for sharing!

IonicApex responds:

Thank you very much! :D

This is a pretty minimalistic image, but for what it is, it's clean and attractive. Pleasing to look at ans stylistically sharp. The only criticism i'd give is that there's not much happening visually, otherwise nice work! I hope to see more of your stuff :)
