Nice work! The drawing factor to this image is the style and clean linework, though it feels lacking dimension/depth. As a stylistic illustration it's quite good (if somewhat lacking in visual interest, which an environment or different lighting or more ambitious poses could fix), as a digital painting it could use more 3D form and lighting depth. Overall though you've done well and as a painting exercise you should feel it successful, and continue practicing! Its clear you have skill, so keep it up!

Thanks for critique, man! Going to work on my flaws and will keep on trying and trying.

Great work! I watched your speedpainting to get a better grasp of your process. You have good painting method and attention to detail and accuracy in proportion, form and shading. You should be very proud of this piece - I'm not quite sure who Wally Lewis is, I assume he was very talented at throwing or kicking a ball shaped object into a designated area, but in painted form he scores a goal in my book - great work! Keep it up, I look forward to seeing more of your art on here!

Keep practicing! There are some good areas of the image, the color balance being one, but the overall image lacks interest and solidity. The skull isn't well proportioned and the whole image is a bit flat. Don't take this too negatively though, it comes with time and practice, and learning new mediums and programs can be difficult! Keep at it, and thanks for the skull pic! :)

If this is your practice in creating a clean and sharp image then you are well on your way! There are areas that lack refinement and solidity, but overall you gave this image a very polished look, good color balance, and good composition. There's not much negative to say, since all that is lacking are things that naturally will improve as you continue to practice. It just takes time! Keep up the great work.

The form and linework in this are simply astounding. Very impressive, the way you use the black lines and shapes to create such a sense of scale is fantastic. The color is minimal but it is not at all a detriment to the painting, in fact I feel it enhances the linework and intricate detail throughout. I'm very impressed and have nothing negative to say, keep up the awesome work! I look forward to seeing more!

Thank you very much! Your response means a lot.

Astounding! I'm not sure how much of this is original though, I wish you would have made use of the authors comments area to share your techniques or ideas since much of it appears like photos of various things have been adapted into the image, but the composition alone is worth commendation, with a good balance of color and interest. Thanks for sharing!

I quite like your simple style! Keep going, I'm curious to see how it evolves, its clean and pleasing to look at, keep it up

I hope your friend loved her present, this is a great illustration, uniquye anc dute. I'd recommend bringing up the opacity of the wings a bit since I thought they were behind her initially, theyre slightly too transparent, otherwise, great work, keep it up!

The medium style is simple and wispy but the characters style and expression are fantastic. You have a good talent for making something have a lot of character visually, keep up the good work - i'd like to see you work on your technical skill a little more though :)

Very nice work, your lines and shading in this are very strong and her expression is solid and intense. Keep up the good work!
