I love it! This piece is very clever and ambitious, and well presented. The idea itself is the images feature in my opinion - it says a lot about your attitude and the things you love, which being displayed in a simple artwork effectively can be difficult. It also strikes a chord with me because that is how I see art as well! Great work, thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

Something tells me this image was inspired by sam spratt? If not, look him up, he did something similar and it looks incredible. That aside, you've done a good job here, but the execution is pretty minimal. That can be a good thing, unless it just makes the image lack visual interest. Your execution is good and solid and clean, it just lacks visual interest. Keep up the effort and thanks for sharing!

Welcome to newgrounds, and thanks for submitting to me for consideration for the showcase! This is a decent piece, it lacks a bit though which will come with time and practice. Your facial structure and solidity are lacking, I recommend finding a construction method that works good for you so you can give your figures more form and solidity. It's a visually interesting piece though and the character has a good expression and is composed in the image well. Keep it up!

thanks Jazza Im going to try more simple stuff to start, i tried making a unique looking anime character but im gonna first practice with basic easier characters. thanks and keep up the tutorials :)

this is a GREAT start to using Photoshop. What did you use before in your painted images? Anyhow, this image has great compositioning, good color balance and a strong pose. The shading could be more solid, but the image as a whole is interesting and well done, keep it up!

CrazyCreators responds:

The previous program that i used was SAI easy paint tool.
It was completely different than photoshop and it worked tottaly different so it was a little hard on learning it.
But i have to say it gives me a lot more than the previous and it makes more things easier :D
Thanks for the kind review again.Stay amazing :)

You have a great cartoony style which I look forward to seeing develop! This image while well drawn lacks visual interest, there is little to draw my attention in and keep me there. Your lines are clean, your coloring solid and composition strong, it just needs more to look at! Keep up the good work

ChewyHanSolo responds:

As always a great, positive critique. Good on ya Jazza!

Very nice! This has a lovely painterly feel to it, and your image composition and color balance are wonderful. You have obvious talent! Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing what you do next

As a drawing and painting exercise you've done very well! The form and figure are strong and while the lighting and color is minimal it's effective. I'd like to see what you can do with a more challenging theme/character or in adding an environment. Keep up the good work!

VanGelder responds:

Wow ! Thanks ! It means so much to me that you reviewed my draw, I mean, you're the one who inspired me to start the digital drawing. I'm not so good at environments but i'll give it a shot.
I'll be back with another ones !

Your color balance is good, and the characters style and solidity are good, problem is it's a bit 'too' solid since the forms lack real character and depth, it's too blocky and hard-edged. Otherwise you've done well, I'd like to see the figure in some kind of environment or more interesting pose. Thanks fr sharing, keep up the good work!

Visually this is fantastic, however, there is little of that which you have right to claim unfortunately. Taking someone elses work and manipulating it doesn't count as original art in my opinion, and while it looks good visually, it's not of your doing. You other images show a very different level of skill, and while they may not be photo-realistic, they show style and potential which does not show in stealing and changing other people's work. I recommend going back to creating art from scratch using your own skills and improving them. You'll get a lot more out of it that way, and you'll be giving us all something new.

I agree with the guy below! of the 3 images you sent me this has the most visual interest and clear stylistic ability, and it lends itself to being colored! The linework is strong and the theme and composition are clever and well executed. There as very slight things that could be improves, the hands tend to look a little large and rough around the edges, extra 'manly' for what I assume are young adults or teenagers. The faces could use a liiiitttle more solidity, but those issues are me being picky, since the overall image has a lot in its favor! Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing
