Hey, thanks man! I appreciate the review.
Wow that was fast! And a really great piece too! As the first piece I've seen for the competition, you're definitely setting the bar high! Great work :D
:D thanks jazza! ^-^
This has blown my mind. Favorited. Featured. Amazing.
Thanks man!! =D
Simple, but stylistically and conceptually interesting and inventive. I like your line work and stippling, clean, not too ambitious but well executed, keep it up!
thanks again man, appreciate it. will have more art soon...more ambitious next time.
Nice work! It's clear to me that you really challenged yourself with this piece, you're trying various advanced techniques which are really hard to get right, and while some areas aren't perfect, the ambition and care taken bring it to a level of which you should be proud. Your piece holds its own fairly well in terms of its composition - the balance of where the viewerâEUTMs eye is drawn and how the piece is laid out is neat and compliments the image and style. This piece is decent, it effectively conveys what you are trying to go for, so good work. Keep it up and thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks a lot jazza for your review although i thought it was a bit better than 2 1/2 stars
I love your background and the aesthetic there, also the image composition is great and leads the eye very well. It's clear to me that you really challenged yourself with this piece, you're trying various advanced techniques which are really hard to get right, and while some areas aren't perfect, the ambition and care taken bring it to a level of which you should be proud. Keep up the great work, thanks for the kind words, and thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks a lot, Mr. Jazza!
I'm really glad that you liked the background, it was a bit hard to draw. I didn't have any clear ideas.
But at the end, this came up in my head and fitted so well with the main character.
It's some kind of a privilege to read a review from you to my work, I mean, I've learned a lot from you, and I'm still learning... Like I wrote before, I really admire you, pal.
I'll keep up the effort to get better! Thanks for this review!
I can tell you've put in a lot of effort here, really impressive :) Not only is the composition of this piece appropriate, it's also stunningly clever and well thought out! The eye is led exactly as you want it to be, and visual interest is strong throughout, with a good balance of perspective and detail. The painting is goo quality but I feel your linework is a little lacking, only slightly, i think a picture of this style could benefit from a nice thick black outline around the outer most edges of the image. That aside, you've done well, keep up the great work and improvement and thanks for sharing :)
Thanks a lot for reviewing! It's due to your videos I've been able t practice and get a lot better than I used to, so thanks a lot for doing that AND finding the time to check out this! That's just too amazing/awesome. As for Attuk, I'm still finding my way with using a tablet the best way, but this was the first time I started with my arm as opposed to my wrist like usual. Anyway, I'll be sure to take your advice into account, so thank you. :)
I love seeing how much artwork you're contributing, it's really fantastic. You're one of my favorite artists purely for your enthusiasm and consistency, as well as an admirable love of Dota! This is a great piece, It's clear to me that you really challenged yourself with this piece, you're trying various advanced techniques which are really hard to get right, and while some areas aren't perfect, the ambition and care taken bring it to a level of which you should be proud. Keep up the awesome work, and thanks for sharing :)
Thank you very much! I'll keep it up :)
It's like watching a murder unfold, where the result is delicious. Hannibal approves. Overall, a clever concept and good execution. The painting style you have going on here lacks solidity, the edges are somewhat unrefined, but inside and on the outer edges of the shapes/characters. Don't be afraid to have some hard edges and contrast where they're needed. The character's expressions are good. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing :)
Thanks, man :) Btw love the Hannibal reference!
