Very cool, he's like the fonze-ninja hehe. Your digital painting here is solid, the linework is a little messy but I think it works in the piece's favor. Everything is well proportioned and positioned, though I do think the hands could afford to be a little bigger. Overall a good piece, keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

Very good work! Her proportions and pose are well executed, I am particularly impressed with how you've done the multicolor glow. I assume you duplicated your color layers and blurred them behind your main picture? I'd never thought to do something like that, very neat. If anything I'd recommend you make her face a little more slender, and she seems to have a slight under bite, but that aside this is something you should be very proud of! Keep it up, and thanks for sharing :)

Thank you so much XD

Yes indeed, the glow behind her is simply the color layers with a heavy Gaussian Blur effect. I also used the same effect (to a MUCH lesser strength) on the lineart, to try and make it softer, blending the glow in with her. I was originally going to do a high contrast glow, as if she was in a dark room, and the sun was shining brightly from a window, but it didn't seem to make sense with her color scheme... and I'm not sure how to create such an effect anyway :P

The facial proportions are something that's more of a stylistic decision of mine; it tends to give the character a bit younger, and more innocent of a feel. But I definitely see what you mean, and will keep it in mind in the future for sure.

Thanks again for the review :)

Of the pictures you sent me this is my favorite. I like the characters, they each have their own interesting pose and expression, and the spacing and framing is really well done. I'd recommend trying out some shading tricks now, you seem ready for it, in a picture like this with a pure black background, the best way to make that work in your favor is to shade the characters as if they're in a dark room. Looking good, keep it up! Thanks for sharing

If this is your first piece of digital art using a human figure, you're doing VERY well. She looks very feminine and attractive, your color and shading are extremely good, proportions are all in good form, and her face in particular is very simple, but effective. You've done a great job, keep it up!

Like the bottom reviewer mentioned, it's simple, but nice and cute! Your line work is very very clean and crisp which helps when drawing cute small characters. The colors are also well formed, the shading is simple and minimal, but it works! Keep going and you'll always improve, try challenging yourself and drawing this character on different angles, doing different things, in different places. Thanks for sharing!

GumDisease responds:

No sir, thank you for the review. :D
I will get to work on that right now!

This is my favorite of your drawings :) I like the attitude on his face, and without reading the description or title, I could tell who it was meant to be, which clearly means you achieved what you wanted to! Your understanding of the human form and how to angle limbs and maintain proportions could use work, but these are things that will come with time and practice, and this is a good start! keep it up :)

I like this picture, you seem to be challenging yourself in creating an environment, and filling it with characters, each with their own emotion and activity. The goat on the right has got to be my favorite hehe! The landscape in the back seems too flat, and the sun is quite large, but overall you're doing well, keep it up! Thanks for sharing

Very coold drawing! The solidity of your lines and expressions on the characters are done really well. The framing feels like it could be a little lower to capture the intensity more in the middle of the picture, and the lines feel like they could really be darker and intensity the image that much more, but what you have here is looking pretty strong so far, thanks for sharing :)

Thx for your response i really appreciate your advise i'll put it in mind

That is some very clean artowkr right there! I can tell you've paid a LOT of attention to making the final result crisp and clean, you've done a very good job. The pose overall feels a little bit flat, like I can't tell if her knees are bent and she's sitting down, partly because of the shading on her legs partly because of the pure white background. The shadow behind her helps, but otherwise I'd say be careful of thigns like that. Her face and expression are very well done though, keep it up, thanks for sharing!
