Nice work! A fun image concept and well pulled off. I especially like your strong color and glow, it flows together well. Your line work could be stronger and more solid, mainly because everything is currently the same thickness, and the shape itself is a little flat, but these things come with practice! Thanks for sharing, keep it up!

Kool a review from Jazza himself! Thanks for the review man, hope I make a showcase!!!

Welcome to Newgrounds! Its always great to see new people join up here with enthusiasm and a hard working attitude. Remember to take on good advice, ignore idiots, and always work to improve yourself. Your composition here is well done! Its simple but fun, well framed and cute. There are plenty of things that could be improved on, but being new to all of this, just take it slow, have fun and keep working! Thanks for sharing and good luck :)

Thanks Jazza! Thank you for taking your time at looking at this, and I hope to improve! Since I don't have Photoshop (and Flash isn't really the best for making illustrations like your's) I actually used an iPad to make this, and I like how this turned out! Thanks so much for the review!

EDIT: Thank you for putting me in the showcase!

First impression was, this is pretty good! Second impression after I read you did this with a mouse, this is pretty GREAT. Trust me, I know the drastic difference between drawing with a tablet and mouse, and its a pretty severe handicap. Your linework and coloring is fantastic considering that, you have great detail in the grass and the lighting on the edges of the characters clothes is well done. There are minor things that could be improved, but I won't even mention them because I'd venture to assume they'd be fixed if you had a tablet to work with anyway! GET A TABLET GODDAMIT! You've got a lot of potential here! Thanks for sharing :)

YAY! I love seeing traditional artwork. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing digital work, but its always refreshing to see people still like using stuff on paper! I can't even remember the last time I sat down to do something on paper... kind of a shame really. Anyhow, this is great! I have a love of the shapes of skulls, I don't know why, such a cool looking object. You pulled this off great, nice use of shade, believable form, and lovely colors around the edges. Not much negative can be said about this, great work! Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the review man!

Nice work, you're definitely improving, the more recent drawing has a more curvy realistic form and detail in the face. I'd recommend thinning the waist and adding more length to the arms, also keep detail minimal on athletic female figures and try to convey the athletic body type through the shapes of the body rather than lines where the muscles are, otherwise it can come across too masculine. Thanks for sharing, keep it up!

Gorgeous. The framing of this piece is interesting and leaves me trying to interpret what you have as the theme, always good when you leave a viewer thinking. The smoke looks great, the painting in general is a delicate mix of simplicity and detail. Nice work, thanks for sharing!

This is astounding. I have nothing negative to say about this. A very well painted picture, lovely asymmetrical framing, fantastic lighting and depth. You have my commendation and I'm adding this to my favorites.

Thanks for the great comments and I cant wait to make another one that I feel is worthy of sending into your showcase!

LOVE. Added this one to my favorites. So much about this is fantastic, the aesthetic first and foremost is brilliant, the colors, and especially the compositioning. I love how the mountains to the far left and right frame the whole image. Also your understanding of atmosphere, and other basic physical principals show through well, IE snow lightly covering one side of certain mountains, distant blurring and merging to the blue atmosphere of the sky etc, and finally, the distant central character adds a sense of grand scale and emotion, loneliness and struggle. Fantastic work, I have nothing bad to say about this.

I don't know why, but I just love this - the shapes and colors are simple, but this piece goes to show how even simplicity when done right, is memorable and can make someone smile. The colors and shading are very strong too, and your linework very crisp. For what you attempted, you pulled it off great, keep it up :)

Welcome to Newgrounds, thanks for taking the time to submit! Its nice to see you've kept submitting work too! ^_^ This piece looks nice, though the texture overlay and skin tone throw me off a little, your linework and colors in general work well together. Especially the warm colors of the figure against the cold green background, its nice. Also, boobs. Thanks for sharing!

JAZZA HAS SPOKEN!! thanks for reviewing my art, i will work on the overlay but the skin tone im not really sure what to change it in.
If you read this can you give me any suggestions?
