You character work and understanding of object shape and accentuation is very well pulled off. When I first saw the image that was my first thought. My second thought was "so... what's actually happening here?", which after reading your description I felt free to not try and read into it too much hehe. As a 'random' illustration this is very appealing to look at and interesting to the eye, good job. Overall I like your style and would like to see what you can do with an artwork with a more cohesive setting or visual narrative. I like your linework and use of color too. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Nice work, I can see you're challenging yourself with lighting and coloring, and for your first flash-drawn picture you've done great! It sure as hell beats my first flash drawn pictures 10 years ago. The character is pretty solid, his face especially. His right arm looks a little awkward in the way its bent and resting over his body, but learning to draw those thing in proportion effectively can take time, just keep up what you're doing! Thanks for sharing

Fantastic! What I love most about this picture is that it tells a story, and quite effectively. Too often I see just some dude in some pose or some location or something, nothing wrong with that I guess, I mean, I dot it quite often myself, but this is really charming. Normally I like to offer some constructive criticism but I can't for this, you achieved what you set out to in an outstanding way, great work! Added to favorites.

thanks for the kind words Jazza. also appreciate putting me in the showcase video. i felt somewhat important XD

Oh man, I reviewed this, and when I came back a moment later I saw it didnt go through so I have to re-write it. It was something like; awesome job! Her proportions are very feminine and well done, I like her expression and pose. The backgrounds is a little sparse, also shouldn't be blurred unles the focus was much closer on the foreground subject, blurring a background for the sake of it can come across cheap so be careful with that. Otherwise awesome job, thanks for sharing!

any time, bro :D thank YOU for checkin it out. the BG wasent my main consern :P this was a quick drawing, but i'l keep that in mind next time i make a drawing, thank you :)

PS your game is still on a pause cuz i had an eye operation. still recuperating :(

Hey there
This is a good start, since drawing without a tablet or much digital part creation practice can be very difficult. I recommend finding a cheap tablet on ebay or something, and giving it a go! The form here is a bit unstable, like you drew him without reference or construction lines. Never underestimate the power of preparing a drawing through a rough sketch first. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Wow this is very cool! You should totally submit more art to newgrounds, I'd love to see what else you come up with. I've added you to my favorites so I can see when you upload new artwork. The composition of the image and how the characters are interacting looks great, and the abundance of chains add a lot of interest to the piece. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for the review, Jazza! :) I really learned a lot from your Flash Tutorials on YT.

Drawing and coloring the chains took HOURS, haha. I lack practice with background and environment elements, so I'm trying to put more effort into them so I can learn. Thanks again!

Oooh neat! I like the little trick you pulled off in making the hand claw the side of the website like that, very clever ;) You painting is very effective, good use of colors and framing. The glows on the demon chick are cool too. I can't think of much wrong with it, perhaps it could use a more interesting environment. Overall a good job! Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Thanks a lot for the review, means a lot!

OOooh sppoky! I really like your creativity with this creature, he'd definitely be a big-boss on any game he'd be in ;) It can be tempting to only draw a creature like this from the side since its easier to get the proportions accurate, I recommend trying to challenge yourself and draw the creatures you invent on different angles, to get familiar with 3D form and how to move things around to where you want them! Good job, keep it up, thanks for sharing!

Very nice! I can tell you're using a few tricks I've mentioned on my channel, SOMEONES BEEN PAYING ATTENTION ;) Not that I should be taking credit, this is all you and you've done a great job. If I were to say anything that might improve, i think her hair is a little toooo thick at the top, when hair is longer like that it'd be a little more weighed down but the hanging hair, even when thrown around in the wind. Overall a great piece, thanks for sharing, and keep it up!

This is great! You should be very happy with this :D I love the framing, the whole things looks pretty epic, though the big boss dude looks a little bit dark overall, i'd like if he pooped out a little more. Your detail and coloring on the foreground figure and sword are great, thanks for sharing!
