On its way to being a very impressive piece of work! I feel like you might have suffered from a common scourge to drawing in pencil, and that is the nasty smudging that happend as you slide your hand over the paper in parts you've already drawn. Here's a tip I used to always keep in mind when shading in pencil, I'd rip up a portion of a separate piece of paper and put it under the hand that's drawing. That way you can slide your hand around without exposing your drawing to all the oils our hands naturally hold. Another thing I think this image could use, is a litte definition through light and shade. Minimizing the smudging like I mentioned will help keep the light in tact, but when you approach the dark parts of the shading, make sure your pencil is extra sharp, and you're not afraid to be firm with it. You'll end up with a really strong contrast and it'll make your sketches 'pop'! Overall, you've done a great job here! Keep it up :) (gotta love blizzards art style. I'm definitely a fan myself)

Thanks for the critique Jazza, I really appreciate it! Although I do use paper under my hand, what you think is accidental smudging is actually meant to be a dusty background. I did it on purpose just the effect isn't as solid as i would have liked. Also the weak contrast is simply due to a bad camera. :( doesn't change the fact that the dust effect was done incorrectly and your absolutely right about that and as for the sketchiness of the demons in the background... that was caused by fatigue :T. After 28 hours spent on the demon hunter in the center I was too beat to put that level of detail into everything else. I'll definitely plan more in the future and do a few more practice sketches in my sketchbook before hand. Your critique really helped and is appreciated thanks Jazza! I look forward to your next video.

Your vector lines are very clean! Try exporting to a little lower resolution so it doesnt look so jagged in the zoomed out view. I'd love to see more shading overall as the image tends to feel a bit flat at the moment, but for someone who's new to photoshop as you told me in your PM, it looks like your getting a strong grasp of the basics! Keep it up!

This is great. In this and your other works its pretty clear you have a great understanding of shape, and how light wraps around 3 dimensional forms. Not a lot of people exhibit that very easily, so that's a strong asset in your favor. I want to see what you do with color! I imagine your shading style would be very complimented by rich colors blending in light and shade to convey shape. And good choice of subject too, I think Atlantis is one of the most underrated cartoon movies. That and treasure planet. Awesome work, keep it up!

First of all, thank you so much for what you said about my work. I think you are one bloody good illustrator, it's amazing how yoir work is that good, and you are a great inspiration as well. I don't use alot of colour because...i don't feel that confortable (kat von D style) But some times I try and I use colour while pating fields and objects, but with human parts...it looks better in black in white...i think. But know i'll obviously try and posted. Also...what do you think about the other ones?

Very impressive! I love how you did the details, like the texture of the lips and hair, the stroked along the shirt and the glasses frames. Its clear you had a reference to do something this detailed, but your executions is fantastic. You really have to zoom in to get the full appreciation of it. awesome work!

Love this! Very imaginative, with great use of color and framing. There are a few issues with some of the facial features of the child, lips are a little thin and the eyes could be wider, but overall this is very strong. The colors and painting style are well executed, and the textures on the mous and his weapons are lovely. Great work!

Your use of shadow and light in an extreme way is very well done! I like he's expression too. And let's not forget those fancy swirly effects around the gem, this is good work! Keep it up :)

wy thnx alot :D i hope u can put it on ur next video on youtube :)

Nice work! Your colors are strong and so is the pose. The proportions could use some work, as the user below pointed out, but overall this is a great start! Try drawing her in some action poses and see how you go - Keep up the good work :)

SheepOvatsug responds:

Thanks for the feedback Jazza!

Did you trace this? There's a lot of detail here, as with the other images you sent me. Your use of linework, shadow and reflection are pretty good here, I'd love to see some texture in the hair and variety in the background but overall you've done good work here! Keep it up :)

CrazyCreators responds:

Thank you for your kind review :)

I like this, I'm not sure why but it reminds me of the kind of cartoons I used to watch early in the mornings as a kid. The colors came through well, seeing as I assume you did this on paper and scanned it on? Anyhow, nice character design, appealing and simple, keep it up!

TheCartooningMaster responds:

Thanks so much! I'm really glad you like it!
And yeah, I did scan it.

Nice work, I like your colors and pose, the character is quite strong. You could do with adding some detail to the background and work on the anatomy a bit but overall this is nice :) Something I always try and keep in mind when having a sun in a picture is to have it somewhere between really bright yellow and white, it makes it look much brighter. Good work :)
