I didn't know bdsm comics existed. though saying that makes me realize how naive I am. Anyhow, great pic! Especially for having worked in pencil you've done a fantastic job! The main worry I find is that the shades are a bit flat and everything looks a bit intertwined so it can be hard to read the image in areas. I recommend really pushing the contrasts in lights and shades, and have softer backgrounds when using pencil so the figures and central points of focus can stand out. Good work! Thanks for sharing

thanks jazza! i was getting a little worried i wouldn't get another critique but i guess that just goes to show how many works of art you're getting... thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Nice pic! I'd recommend bringing the size of the full version down a little bit so it doesn't take up too much space and confuse viewers. Otherwise, you've done well with your coloring and painting! Links face could be a little softer, he's got a bit more of a ganon-like face at the moment. Nice work thanks for sharing!

Emwebb07 responds:

Thanks for the criticism! Glad you enjoyed and there is more art to come :)

Very nice hot-cold contrast, and I like the spikey painted feel of the flames and ice. You've done a great job with this, I wish there were something in the background other than white, but the overall tone of the piece is very strong, you've done well! Keep it up and thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for the review :) i appreciate you taking the time to look at my artwork :)
I used the smudge tool in photoshop for the spikey stuff. :)

There's a lot happening here! You've got some good shading happening and a lot of interesting things to look at, in a way I with I knew where to focus but I believe that's kind of the point of this sort of image, to have everything happening everywhere. For what you set out to achieve you did a good job! Keep it up :)

Goddam this is cool. You're on my favorites list now. The aesthetic of this image reminds me of diablo (back when it wasn't ruined by diablo 3). I love how demonic and visceral it looks, like the anatomy fits together even though I've never seen anything like it, and it could be a real creature ready to tear me apart. The only thing that slightly bugs me is the asymmetrical framing, but I'm sure that was intentional. Great work, thanks for sharing!

I am honored =) thank you so much Jazza!

Very cool! I wish it was framed to focus a little better on the female figure, currently the zoomed out view makes the image look less cool than it actually is, when I zoom in and check out the detail I can see you clearly have a very great understanding of many things, character design and expression, solid color use and shading, environmental lighting, etc. This is a great picture, I wish it complimented itself more though. Great work, keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

Nice work! I'll also mention I really like the other drawing you have uploaded here. Anyhow, You've done a great job with the mechanical details in this pic, and the pose and crop of the upper torso and focus on the arms is really clever. The image could stand to use some shading, learning to color something in to look metallic is quite hard but I'm sure you'd learn from the experience. Great job, thanks for sharing!

First off . AHHHHH. So crazy to have you respond. I know it's not as hard as if you were trying to have Emma Watson reply to something but still AHHHHH.

Yes sadly the reason why this has no shading is that when i was working on it, I lost my PS as I said and I never got around to working on it again.

Nice work, especially for a practice piece. I can tell you've made a solid effort at portraying anatomy, there are a few things you could stand to improve, the characters chest doesn't cut off at the top, a good way to do this is signify where the collarbone is, which is usually the same height as the edge of the shoulders, currently the chest line goes up into the neck which looks a bit strange. Also the right forearm seems almost like a cutout image, try to see if you can make it look as integrated with the upper arm as you have with the left arm. Overall you've done a good job, I like the painted style you've achieved, and the background is a nice mix of ethereal colors and blurs to add to an overall dreamy aesthetic. Nice work, thanks for sharing, and keep it up!

nice work! I remember how much I used to love drawing pokemon and dragon ball Z when I was in school, this picture brings me quite a bit of nostalgia hehe. Your coloring/shading is very good, your proportions could stand to improve in places but that's the kind of thing that will fade with time and practice. Nice work, thanks for sharing!

Nice work! Your coloring and framing are particularly strong. You could stand to improve the figure solidity and proportions slightly, but overall this is very well done and a cool theme in my opinion ;) gotta love the watchmen. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!
