First digital illustration? What ambition! It's clear to me that you really challenged yourself with this piece, you're trying various advanced techniques which are really hard to get right, and while some areas aren't perfect, the ambition and care taken bring it to a level of which you should be proud. Overall there's plenty of room for improvement but your leap into the artwork is great, I love your use of foreshortening and composition. great job, thanks for sharing, keep it up!

A simplistic piece, really well executed and slick. I love the blocky style, reminiscent of samurai jack to me, well pulled off! I like your linework and overall you should be very happy with the result here! Keep up the great work

Hey,thanks,it means a lot coming from you who I admire and learn from...I'll keep practicing

A cute pic and it made me chuckle, I like it, though to scale, he's a lot smaller than he should be in this environment! Your piece holds its own fairly well in terms of its composition - the balance of where the viewerâEUTMs eye is drawn and how the piece is laid out is neat and compliments the image and style. Your linework here, while appropriate, lacks style. The most effective way to create a good visual sense of style with linework is to work with more organic shaped, and to vary the linework thickness throughout. Overall a cute clever piece, plenty of room for improvement but a great start, thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

For a beginner you're doing astoundingly well and shouldn't feel self conscious, it's clear you have potential, so be positive and just continue to challenge yourself and have fun with it :) Your piece holds its own fairly well in terms of its composition - the balance of where the viewerâEUTMs eye is drawn and how the piece is laid out is neat and compliments the image and style. Your optimization from traditional to digital is well done (though only slightly mis-cropped). Overall great effort and result, keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing! :)

For a beginner you're doing really well, keep doing what you're doing and keep yourself motivated and you'll see improvement comes quite quickly! For a first painting you should be very proud. There is however a significant lack of use of the space within this image, and areas of the painting are a bit cloudy. That aside what a great start! Keep it up and thanks for sharing :)

Thank you very much for your input! By watching all your you tube videos i know you have a lot of things going on, so it´s really awesome that you take time to review my work and give some good advice. Thank you!

This is a lovely piece with soft coloring, I suspect it's a traditional artwork, and if it is, I applaud both your amazing coloring work and astounding optimization and presentation. If it's digital, then you've somehow pulled off a really great medium style here and it's fantastic. There is a lack of environment, but in the case of this image it doesn't remove any of the visual interest or appeal. This piece is decent, it effectively conveys what you are trying to go for, so good work. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

Awww thanks so much! It's fully traditional (I said 'markers' in the artist comments)

You've captured a really nice feel here. Your piece holds its own fairly well in terms of its composition - the balance of where the viewerâEUTMs eye is drawn and how the piece is laid out is neat and compliments the image and style. The shading is stylistically appropriate and well done. This piece is decent, it effectively conveys what you are trying to go for, so good work. Keep it up and thanks for sharing! :)

Your image has some well painted areas, which contrast unfortunately with some of the pre-made textures you used in the background and environment. It's clear to me that you really challenged yourself with this piece, you're trying various advanced techniques which are really hard to get right, and while some areas aren't perfect, the ambition and care taken bring it to a level of which you should be proud. Your piece holds its own fairly well in terms of its composition - the balance of where the viewerâEUTMs eye is drawn and how the piece is laid out is neat and compliments the image and style. There are areas you can improve in obviously, but that's the same for every artist, overall you've done a great job, so keep it up and thanks for sharing! :)

Good job with the image, though the representation could use some work. Be wary of misrepresenting your image - no matter how much work you put into it, if it's not properly optimized, a traditional image that isn't properly transferred into the digital format will look worse than it could, which is a shame to the work put into the image. I've created a video tutorial on addressing this issue, feel free to check it out on youtube (/watch?v=gJrgnxKehso). In particular in this case, cropping and proper framing of the image in a digital format. That aside you've done very well, keep up the great work!

An overall pleasant surreal piece with good composition and color balance. There are places in your image where there is a small white gap between the color fill itself and the linework outside it. This can be annoying to get rid of but it's worth developing your style to exclude such errors. Your linework could also use some weight variation. Other than that you've done well, keep it up, thanks for sharing :)
