Nice! Its simple and fun! I'd like to see what you can do when you challenge yourself a little more, IE making an environment or adding some more detailed characters. Either way, solid coloring and understanding of shape, and a simple fun expression. Keep it up!

Thanks for the review. I'll surely include a background to my next piece. You're right, I might need to challenge myself more.

Stylistically simple, yest unique and slick. Its nothing too fancy or complicated lets be honest, but the way you have the colors work off each other is really nice, and your execution of the solid shapes and forms work really well, so even though its simple, its nice to look at and cleanly presented. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback, it really helps and is a great confidence boost.

Creepy! The colors are a bit flat be careful of that, when the background, foreground and main figure all share a similar hue of color and darkness in tone, it dims the whole picture. Even places where there could be a source of light, its a bit dim. The central figure's face and expression are spooky though and the general aesthetic of the piece is solid, keep it up!

A good start, your image rendering could be better since its low resolution and a bit 'gif' looking in its pixelation. The image itself is unclear as to what you're making and the shapes and lines are a bit messy, but keep working! challenge yourself and enjoy the process, improvement is inevitable :)

Doing well, your color balance and composition are nice, though the form lacks solidity and the linework needs to be a little smoother. These things come in time and after practice, so for an early digital painting you're doing well, just keep practicing! Thanks for sharing :)

You strike me as an artist. I see a lot of illustrators and designers, but your work and the way you talk make me think you see your work as something more connective and outside yourself, as well as inside. There are things you could improve on of course (as there are for everyone on the planet), but your skills are very refined and I look forward to seeing what else you make! This piece is fantastic by the way, the folds in the cloth and shading, the clear representation and accuracy of proportions, shape and anatomy. You've done very well! Adding this, and you, to my favorites. Keep it up!

Thank you so much! I am honored. I really appreciate it, and I appreciate what you do too. Thanks again.

Doing well as a beginner creating digital art. I'd like to see how you go attempting something more dramatic and challenging though, Keep it up!

Great job! the way you did the linework and shadow looks great and effective! I love the little details in his face, like the wrinkles and veins. Keep up the great work!

RidOff responds:

Thanks Jazza! Thank you for reviewing it here and in Artists Showcase! Really appriciate it!

Nice work. You're good with female proportions and poses, keep it up! The drawing is great to the point that the thing letting it down is presentation. Perhaps you could work on wither making sure the traditional artwork is scanned and doctored to best reprisent the original, or perhaps attempt creating the artwork digitally. Good job, thanks for sharing!

McDerpy responds:

Yes I'm working on the scanning part, trying for the best results. Thanks for your thoughts! :)
