now THAT is disturbing... That being said, it's pretty apparent that it was your intention to shock the viewer to then seek to know why it's so shocking, which you address in the description, so you achieved what you set out to do quite well. The form of the character is a bit disproportionate, so spend some time refining your understanding of anatomy and character form, these things come with time and practice. Colors mix well and the intensity of the image is very strong. Great work, keep it up!

Alsnowman responds:

Thanks! And will most def keep practicing on that anatomy!

Nice! And good on you for contributing to pico day, though a little late, the effort is always noted ;) You've done well with the coloring, the forms could stand to be a little more solid, but overall the tone of the image is well done. Keep it up!

Better late than never ;)

Nice work! And props to your first digital pic! Keep up the good work, I hope to see more on here :)

Thanks for the review in your showcase video :))) I was very excited ! Thank you "

Your paintings always amuse me. I'm always guaranteed to see something different and well executed. Great work. I haven't seen many of your works with color, and this one comes across with less strength than the greyscale ones I've seen, so I think that's something you could keep working on to improve, but overall, great work as always :)

Thanks for the constructive feedback jazza!

Nice work! I love how painterly your strokes come across. Awesome mix of colors too, the whole pic grabs your attention and is very vibrant. Some of the edges of areas could stand to be more solid, in particular where colors meet (IE the orange of the hair and green of the hat). The pose and image tone is cute and funny, you've done a good job, keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Great work, good proportions and nimework, good expression. It could use some shading, and the solid color fills you have in could be more solid, but otherwise, good work!

Great pic! Cool and creepy, I can tell you were especially focused on getting the anatomy looking good and accurate, which comes across clearly, so good work! In some areas the strokes are a little rough, mainly in the solid color areas of the sky or ground, but the overall image is very well done with a great aesthetic, so great work, keep it up!

FlappyTheDugong responds:

Thanks again, Jazza!

Very cool, I can tell you've spent a lot of time making this! Make sure when you upload your art you format it properly, if it's too high resolution then it will take longer to load, and will take up too much of the screen. Your use of shade is good and the intensity of the image works well, it could use some refinement but nothing major that won't come with time and practice, keep it up!

Very cool man, I clicked on the thumb coz I thought the style was awesome, then it turned out to be you - even better! Addin to my favs :)

So sorry this took me so long to get to, I finally caught up to my PM's a realized there were 4 unread from a long time ago, this was one of them. That aside (SORRY!), this pic is fantastic! You have a really great style! I love it and look forward to seeing more! I'm so sorry for taking so long to get to this, I'm very impressed too which makes me feel even worse. Keep up the incredible work!

Thank you for the kind words! Don't feel bad for it man, this happens when you get flooded with pms. The opportunity to be introduced to new artists (and to be seen yourself) is well worth the wait.
