Great job! I'd be curious to use Corel Painter, it seems you can get really cool textures with it. Anyhow, your form and lighting are good, the colors and sense of solidity work well, overall you've doen a great job! Keep up the good work

Thanks for your kind words in your PM to me sharing me this image. I'm glad you appreciate my stuff :) Your image here is a great start! your colors are strong, the sense of balance and the images solidity work well. Your linework and anatomy could improve, these things come with time and practice. Keep it up, you're doing well!

AgentofDarkness responds:

Thank you for taking the time to critique my artwork, it means a lot to me. Your tutorials have been inspirational, I now strive for greatness.

Very nice job - the linework is on the surface, very good, but when zoomed in you can see it's a little rougher than first observed. I'd recommend making sure your linework is clean, especially when there are no other colors or shade to the image - if the linework is the only feature or medium in the image, make sure you take care in making it clean and good! Otherwise, a great drawing :)

AniToons responds:

I'll take your comments onboard good sir. Next piece will have a lot more attention to detail.

I love it! You have a fantastic eye for how to use shape well and create memorable characters! They're really great. Your lines and colors are clean and stylistically interesting, the silhouettes are strong, I could go on. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing!

kmau responds:

Thanks man, hope their personalities will be memorable too. Some still need to be fleshed out.. got a lot to write!

This is very good! There is a lack of balance in areas, the hair is too pale and hesitantly shaded, while in contrast, the lips are rich and strong to the point of being too apparent. Your shading is good if a little rough, but overall your use of lighting and the image composition is clean, and well executed. Keep it up!

AniToons responds:

Thanks, yeah i agree. I think my biggest issue was rushing and wanting to get it out there and show everyone so i missed areas which needed the extra focus. Taken a step back now and appreciating all the small details.

Fantastic work! The attention to detail in this image is very impressive. It's rare to come across such a well drawn dragon since their forms can be difficult - but you rose to the challenge extremely well! You should be proud, keep it up!

Tyton89 responds:

Thanks for the review as well as the feature on your channel.

VERY nice! Great style and composition, very clean and well executed linework, and most impressive to me is your use of color in your shading. Too often when people shade they use only darker or lighter variations of the color of that area. You effectively mix various other colors like the subtle purples in the orange octopus, pinks and green in the blue creature at the front, etc. Very great work. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

Bdlsito responds:

Thanks a lot jazz I'll keep it up, thanks for the oportunity to be features in your youtube channel :D

Not bad, your image could use some optimization though, making traditional art look good digitally can be tricky sometimes. Keep up the effort!

Death-Rig responds:

Thank you for you're opinion. Getting a response from a talented artist such as you're self is very appreciated. I'll keep improving as much as possible.

I like your style! Crisp and clean, with good use of shape and lines. Your lines have good weight variation to them too, and the overall image has a good texture to it. I would say that the image lacks visual interest, like there should be a view of some kind behind the central figure or something, but what you've shown us here alone is very good, thanks for sharing!

Cheer's Jazza,
Later Down the line there will be more characters and overall peice.

I like how clean the work looks, you have a good style. The whole piece does look somewhat stretched horizontally though. Keep it up, I'd like to see what else you can do! :)
