Nice work! The composition is definitely interesting and you did very well with the female form, so great work, keep on challenging yourself! The coloring is a little cloudy and could be more solid, but stylistically you've done really well, keep it up!

Thank you very much. Hopefully you will see more improvments in my next one for artist showcase

Nice work, simple and symmetrically pleasing. The form is a little flat and it's quite apparent that it's mirrored, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how its pulled off. Overall, a nice balance and good job, thanks for sharing!

IonicApex responds:

Thank you very much! :D

I don't understand how people can actually manage to create art on touch screen phones and tablets, I've never been able to. Maybe my fingers are too chubby... either way you've done well here, nice use of colors, and even linework, considering it was done on a touchscreen device! Thanks for sharing

Well the galaxy note 10.1 uses a stylus and wacom technology so it's almost like using a small cintiq, minus the attaching to a computer

I got your PM just in time to say nice work, I hope your wife loves her birthday present! You did a lovely job, thanks for submitting to the showcase, keep it up!

Wardog4201 responds:

**This is his wife! Thank you for the birthday wishes and featuring his painting you just made my entire year!!!!!
Wardog4201 thank you for featuring this painting. I will continue to make art and post it in your showcase.

The piece here is good in some ways, and can improve in others.

The good: nice balance of color, good understanding of shade and linework, visually appealing and well drawn :)

Critique: The half-body on the very edge of the image is a bit off putting and feels unfinished. The proportions are a bit out on the girl, her legs are a bit misshaped and the breasts aren't cupped in the bikini top properly

Otherwise you've done well and there's some good stuff here so keep it up :)

JoeliusNG responds:

Thanks so much :D
I'll be sure to use your criticism to make my stuff better!

Welcome to Newgrounds :) This is a nice piece, it's a little blurry so when you scan/photograph your image make sure to do so as clearly as possible, and if you can, optimize it before uploading, mess with the brightness and contrast and clarity until it's really nice and polished. The picture is well draw, it somewhat lacks solidity but it has good attitude and feel to it. Keep it up!

NinjaPotatoGuy responds:

:D wtf i didnt notice this :D hankyou so much!!!, i am working on a digital version. I drew this after watching you're female anatomy.

The glowing aesthetic you produced here is really nice, though the form itself feels like it's right from the uncanny valley, a bit uncomfortable. The form could be more solid and less rigid in its pose, but the aesthetic is really good, keep working! and thanks for sharing :)

DrApfelwurst responds:

Wow thanks!
I know, I know, but I wonder why you say nothing against the background!
Thanks for the comment!

You keep pushing yourself and doing things you haven't tried before. That is the mark of someone who will make fantastic progress, and you already are. Keep doing what you're doing, you're very talented with a good eye for this stuff! Very impressive.

Randombarimen responds:

Thanks!

Nice work, I like how you captured a mood really well, a nice intense setting. The lighting is well done, perhaps a little too dark around the edges, and your colors work well together. The main character looks nice, though his lines feel a little shaky and lack solidity in places. Overall it's a nice looking piece and I like seeing you challenge yourself, keep it up!

CrazyCreators responds:

I understand what you mean and sadly this is the limit the previous program that i was using has.You can only do till that and then try to cover some parts that look awful.
Now with photoshop i believe i can fix it :D

The drawing is clever and well implemented in the scene. The style works well, however their forms lack solidity in a way. I think the photo itself could stand for some editing, change the contrast and saturation to make it stylistically different. That aside you've done well, thanks for sharing and good job!

HandInACupcake responds:

Hm I can see where you're coming from, thank you!
