Goddam this is cool. You're on my favorites list now. The aesthetic of this image reminds me of diablo (back when it wasn't ruined by diablo 3). I love how demonic and visceral it looks, like the anatomy fits together even though I've never seen anything like it, and it could be a real creature ready to tear me apart. The only thing that slightly bugs me is the asymmetrical framing, but I'm sure that was intentional. Great work, thanks for sharing!

I am honored =) thank you so much Jazza!

Nice work! I'll also mention I really like the other drawing you have uploaded here. Anyhow, You've done a great job with the mechanical details in this pic, and the pose and crop of the upper torso and focus on the arms is really clever. The image could stand to use some shading, learning to color something in to look metallic is quite hard but I'm sure you'd learn from the experience. Great job, thanks for sharing!

First off . AHHHHH. So crazy to have you respond. I know it's not as hard as if you were trying to have Emma Watson reply to something but still AHHHHH.

Yes sadly the reason why this has no shading is that when i was working on it, I lost my PS as I said and I never got around to working on it again.

Nice, i like the soft palette and colors, it has a nice ambiance and ethereal feel. I do feel like you could expand the palette a bit, it's pure yellow at the moment, and you could keep the same feel but use different tints of warm colors, golden yellows, desaturated bright yellows, light oranges etc. Great work, thanks for sharing

Thanks Jazza!

Nice work, I can tell you spent a lot of time on that shading, the line work is solid, it could look better if the lines had some contrast, thin to thick in different areas. Also the characters face could be a bit more solid and shapely. A good attempt, keep it up!

thanks

VERY cool. I love his seriously cool expression, you've captured a fantastic feel of power in this picture, the blue lightning, the energy beam from his eye, fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about this, keep it up and thanks for sharing!

DarkNIX responds:

Thanks for the feature mate! :)

Nice work, I like the sketchy style, though the proportions need some work. It'll come with time and practice, work on your hands, perspective and anatomy proportions, though I like the charming cartoony feel. Good work, thanks for sharing!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, been figuring how to navigate xD. Thank you very much for the advice, hopefully I can now do something great with the words parted to me :D, thanks again for your time.

This is fantastic! Your understanding of environmental aesthetic is strong, the way the trees become more golden into the distance, the way the water reflects, and is transparent at the same time. I love this, great detail, linework, color, everything. I have nothing bad to say. Thanks for sharing!

taaki responds:

Thank you so much!!! I'm just honored for being featured on your Artist Showcase and your feedback is just sooo amazing. Thank you Jazza!

VERY nice. I love the image framing, your use of color and refinement of the linework are both very well done. I don't have anything bad to say about this, keep it up!

OzynO responds:

Thank you :D

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at here! hehe. Its a strange red devil character with claw legs, an irish tophat, black loincloth and horns. Well, why not! Nice color contrast and framing, though I wish I knew what it was :P Thanks for sharing

LunchFrogs responds:

No, thank YOU jazza! we are really honored of your review! and this character is called "a Devil bug" and its just some wierd idea for a character we made... :p

This is great. It feels a liiiittle off balance in that the bottom of the image is cut off, when there's plenty of space at the top. Otherwise your shading and the piece itself is fantastic. I have a thing for skulls, especially demonic looking ones. Great work!

RiptideDf responds:

I see exactly what you mean. The original pencil art was cut off as well. I should have cropped the image to at least make up for it. But i am glad you like it. Also i made a mistake with the text. It doesn't pop out enough and isn't distinguishable enough. It looked ok on paper, but not on photoshop after enhancements. But i am super happy you took the time to look at my work and critique it. Thank you.
