Now, even though this is copied from an official promo image, and even though it's a photo of your image rather then being scanned, I'm very very impressed. You got a look of solidarity with colored pencils people just DON'T normally know how to get. Your shading and accuracy are fantastic, great work! And like the guy below said, Don't fold your artwork!! Thumbs up bro.

Thank you! Colored pencil has always been my favorite medium and I will also try to scan my drawings next time. Thanks for featuring me too.

I'm honored I fascinate you. I love seeing other people draw my characters, you did a great job! I'm not even going to be critical because I enjoyed seeing this so much, thank you!

chrisyrulz responds:

Thank you! Means a lot to hear such a positive review from yourself :)

I will indeed kiss you, you deserve it. This is very well done, the painting style is soft and whispy and works well, and the image itself has a dark tone, yet at the same time, beautiful. Great job, keep it up

Revolutsia responds:

Thank you very much! I just really don't know how to respond to this. Oddly.
Sooo...
The idea of this came from me just wanting to do something horribly diseased, I think the inspiration for this came from a Nicolas Cage movie, Season of the Witch. I wish that I didn't use a selection to fill the picture in so I wouldn't get that solid border where the lights are. And erasing some parts to get them to fade with the background messed my plan for a background. I would change a few thngs if I could. Thanks for the spotlight too!

I was giggling out loud for a solid moment there! Very flattered you would take the time to do this haha. Thanks! You did a good job too, nice colors and balance. I'm still giggling ;)

CrazyCreators responds:

I'm glad that my pic made you happy :)
I hope you'll create more awesome stuff like that again in the future :)

Very cute hehe. I think you could afford to work with some background imagery in here of some kind, i dont know, its a nice picture but there's not much to comment on since its simple and well done, but in the way that is an advantage it's also something of a disadvantage. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing you challenge yourself a bit!

TBuKc responds:

Thanks for responses and inspiration. I'll try my best and even more next time

SOMETHING TELLS ME YOU WATCH SAM GREEN? lol He's a friend of mine and I saw him post this competition. You've done a good job, this is very cool! Nyan cat seems a little weird to be honest, like the head is trying to be more realistic, when the tone of Nyan cat feels like it should be more cartoony. Slendy looks great, and the theme/action in this pic work out very well! Great job!

SkovMH responds:

Once again dear Jazza, you're right! ( Damn you Australian people! )
But i can see what you mean with the nyan cat head, i'll try to keep it on one style :)
AGAIN! The review is much appreciated!

This is simply stunning! The wings and hair, and bright tone and radiance to the skin make this really beautiful to look at, awesome work! I feel like the face needs a little work, not much, the eyes seem a little too far to the side, just by a pinch, but the main thing would be the lips, I think they need more color and to be smaller, to compliment her dainty size and feminine feel. The skin tone of the hands also gets a bit lost in the same skin tone of the upper chest. Great work, this is a very lovely piece, thanks for sharing!

Londones responds:

Thank you, I did lose twice 5h of work on this piece maybe that's why I couldn't really get myself to polish even more than I did. You're right now that I look at the eyes again, oh god haha... I'll use your advice for the next pieces I do, well the ones where I do a painterly-ish drawing.

I didn't know bdsm comics existed. though saying that makes me realize how naive I am. Anyhow, great pic! Especially for having worked in pencil you've done a fantastic job! The main worry I find is that the shades are a bit flat and everything looks a bit intertwined so it can be hard to read the image in areas. I recommend really pushing the contrasts in lights and shades, and have softer backgrounds when using pencil so the figures and central points of focus can stand out. Good work! Thanks for sharing

vymnis2 responds:

thanks jazza! i was getting a little worried i wouldn't get another critique but i guess that just goes to show how many works of art you're getting... thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Nice pic! I'd recommend bringing the size of the full version down a little bit so it doesn't take up too much space and confuse viewers. Otherwise, you've done well with your coloring and painting! Links face could be a little softer, he's got a bit more of a ganon-like face at the moment. Nice work thanks for sharing!

Emwebb07 responds:

Thanks for the criticism! Glad you enjoyed and there is more art to come :)

Very nice hot-cold contrast, and I like the spikey painted feel of the flames and ice. You've done a great job with this, I wish there were something in the background other than white, but the overall tone of the piece is very strong, you've done well! Keep it up and thanks for sharing :)

TheSilentDane responds:

Thanks for the review :) i appreciate you taking the time to look at my artwork :)
I used the smudge tool in photoshop for the spikey stuff. :)
