Great work! For your first digital painting you're doing very well! Just keep going! I'm not gonna say anything negative about this pic because the thing best communicated here is how clear your potential is, so keep working, I look forward to seeing what you do!

thank you so much for putting me in your showcase =] hopefully i can get to your level one day XD

I've looked through this and some of your other pieces. It's very clear you have talent. You have a style that is VERY visible, and holds molds my attention with ease. Its refined looking, solid and full of character! I'd love to see you do some kind of scene, like a few characters interacting in some way, or something other than a concept looking art piece. Your concept art is so strong and well done it makes me hunger to see the concept come to life! Keep up the great work!

PeterNicholsonArt responds:

Wow thanks Jazza! I really appreciate the feedback! You've made my day :-)

The dark picture and framing look solid, and your golden corner sparks interest quickly. The execution lacks refinement though, his form doesn't look very solid or tangible and could use work. Also his right leg seems missing? Otherwise, good job, keep up your effort!

JayKay259 responds:

I failed at making the cape look as if it was wrapping around his leg. Thank you, I appreciate it so much.

This is really well done! You should be very proud of this one, you've got a lot of character and concept art, and I see here you've given a really solid slot at creating an environment and story representation, and you've done so very effectively! I'm very fond of how well you executed the figured, the skull, the girls downward running angle, and in particular, the scythe guy. He looks very intimidating, and while not a central focus and not heavily colored or lined, he's extremely well done and impressive. Keep it up!

VincentVyce responds:

Thank you very much. I am rarely happy with my work and always looking for areas to improve, but it means alot to me that other talented artists (like yourself) find something they like about my art and there are a few pieces I can take real pride in.

Heres to many more pieces of art work and even more hours of work

Nice! Your facial proportions could be slightly more solid, but its nothing to be worried about at all. In fact your overall framing and linework are great, the picture design is clever and clear. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing!

Spotsifier responds:

Thanks so much for finding time to review my work! you are a huge inspiration to me =D, I love what you are doing to promote art to the world =), your tutorials are the best! Thanks again =D.

Great work! Your anatomy looks great, proportions are good in most placed, the bottom left leg looks a little off, and the right arm's elbow feels like its too far back, but that's me being picky, the overall piece is well done! I'd like if the contrast were higher, try retouching the picture before you upload it when you make a traditional artwork. It'll help it stand out more. Keep it up!

Josephmang responds:

Your left and right, or the left and right of the figure? =P just so I know!

I'm being very honest: this gets a lot of extra love from me because I'm addicted to Dota 2. I've even created an alt account specifically for practicing invoker with haha. So I can kind of relate to this picture on a personal level ;) Overall though, the linework and coloring and comedy of it are well done. I do feel like the eye area could use some work but otherwise, you've done well! Keep it up!

FlappyTheDugong responds:

Thanks so much Jazza! I agree with the eyes: I wanted to give them more of a luminescent glow, but I have difficulty doing glows and shine in general.

Wow this has a lot of potential! The lighting and the greyscale makes it look really spooky and well done! The line work lacks solidity though and since its so small when zoomed out it kind of gets lost. Try making at least the very edge of the characters silhouette darker and stronger. Also the background needs something in it to justify the asymmetry. All over though, great job!

Treby responds:

thanx for tips, i will be more careful next time. Thank you again and keep being awesome.

If this image weren't on its side, I'd give you a 4.5 - youve done an incredible job, but let this be a lesson, no matter how well you make something, if you show it to people the wrong way, your work counts for nothing. I need to re-state, this is AWESOME work. I just can't enjoy it on its side!

TatLoco responds:

Totally understandable. I originally drew the picture with my tablet flipped vertically without rotating the actual screen. And I could not figure out how to rotate the darn thing but hey lesson learned. I hope the next one I sent you was uploaded correctly o.O.

Very nice! I'd love to see what else you can do, you did a lit well in this image like the linework and color, but the content itself is a bit sparse so It's hard to find much to comment on even if there isn't anything wrong with it. You've done well with this though, keep it up!

Diabolic13 responds:

Sorry for the VERY late reply. Been busy lately. Thank you for the review!
