haha this is great

just watched the two episodes so far and i love them haha. totally unique style and hillarious in how it REAAAALLLLY puls on the anime cliche's.

THERE IS A BUCKET OF WATER OVER THERE
WHO CARES ABOUT A BUCKET OF WATER, WE ARE NOT DEFEATING THIRST! lol
that explains everything

great work man, refined art and your unique comedu style. i definitely look foreward to more.

Egoraptor responds:

Thanks man that's really awesome :D

I must chastise myself

i need to apologise bro. i watched this and was pretty entertained to say the least. i little too much language just coz i'm not a fan of that but anyhow, you have a very unique sense of humor and i think your audio message made me think a little more about the previous comment i made on the aweseome episode comment you responded to. sure the art is rough but i guess its the style your going for and if salad fingers can be populare, why not this lol. anyhow, i just kinda realised we're both coming from the same angle and i need to apologise. i felt especially bad after you mentioned you have my DVD lol!

anyhow, best of luck, ignore my comments previous to now and keep up the fight. respect from me, and wishing you all the luck for the future-

oh, and i know you're great at this AWESOME stuff, but i'd personally love to see something different eventually. keep what you're doing now up, but i think you have a ton of potential art wise and you have a great whit, so lemme know when something refined comes up. have a good one dude.

Egoraptor responds:

Hey man, that means a lot to hear from you.

Yes there are a few different things coming in the future. One project in particular I'm completely toiling over and I really really want to see the light of day. It's not in the "Awesome" style... it very cleaned up and stylized and I hope you can appreciate it!

Still a huge fan of your work, man, and I'll be watching for years to come! Good luck on the missionary work, man. That's totally righteous. When you come back I'll still be a fan!

wonderful job

i really liked how everything was set up, i like the minimal talking to convey the story, i'm a huge fan of that method of story telling because i think it allows is to chose to delve into the plot and make judgements for ourselves of the characters. You also seem to have a very good sense of how to tell a story. i noticed a lot of things that you didn't NEED to do to get the point across, such as the view of him at the trafic lights from te baby in the cars perspective, but they really show a couple of things really well. first that there is a world beyond just this character, and secondly, it just shows a great crativity and effort, polish to your final work. The fbf was a little gough and inconsistent at times, for instance now and then he would have really chubby cheek or really different hair, for that matter i still don't 100% know what look was HIS, but still you executed it enough to tell the story without any problems. i also like the concept of bringing things back to the begining for a fresh start (dont know if you've seen the composer, that's what i was going for) and i think you did a great job!!

congratulations on a good work, i was entartained as i am sure were many, and i'd be dissapointed for you if you didnt ace your school project with this.

thank you, and congrats

Andrew-Buckley responds:

Thank you for your review, yes i have watched the composer(I really enjoyed it) the whole story was able to be refreshed in your mind at the end. My technical skill is still not very strong but im trying to work on it and I can see im getting better, especially with characters and anatomy. Good luck with your future projects and ill see you around.

Oh and I did ace my project =)

LOL... you silly billy

oh SWAIN you Mo-Fo

i love how your experimenting in some really nice unique styles bro, continuing your sexy legacy. This episode was really funny, and the lighting was awesome as well!

keep up the awesome work, and know that if you ever need a shoulder to cry one, i'll be there.

The BeeGees once got so big that they were hated for their proliferation, even though they were generally loved for their talent. Mastermind is such an easy series to create that I don't want to risk flooding the portal with them, so it may have to remain our little guilty pleasure for a while <3

And I don't want to fall into the habit of recycling backgrounds, so the next one will have to be as experimental as the first ones were!

sorry, not impressed

i know this series is popular and all, but the humor is stupid in my opinion, and the art is just part of the random look. too effortless in how its able to be made to be deserving of the score it has i'm sorry.

put a LITTLE more effort in plz.

Egoraptor responds:

Just the other day I watched your Paladin DVD and was impressed at your improvement and devotion in the field of animation.

Hopefully you will enjoy my upcoming series. I respect you a lot and it upsets me to know you're unenthusiastic about my work.

Though, I suppose it's to be expected from what I have shown.

I CAN CHYYAAAANGE.

very nice!

brtha! nice job
jokes were pretty funny, some caught me by suprise
if i could give advise, i'd just start off by saying, you should move thier mouths from the side of thier head to below thier noses/snouts whatever. other then that a good job, a series i would watch more of-

hey watsup!!!
thanks for the advice!

Very Impressive!

this was very well made, you should be proud. the key things that stood out to me were the great camera changes and time changes (slowing and speeding) where needed. The frame by frame animation although at few times a little shakey, was overall very impressive and well implimented.

Awesome style, and a very worthy pico day submission.

my only tiffs were that you could have been a little moe adventurous with the sound effects and music, and perhaps in the demon scene when he was dodging all those stopms, add a bit more FBF to the demons leg rather then it just being a single tweened grafik...

very well done friend!

The-Swain responds:

The number of frames that the Demon/Balrog leg spent stomping just didn't add up. There was a mild amount of FBF in another stomp shot that was totally unnoticeable, so it seemed like a necessary sin to let it slide there.

Besides, we had hoped that Pico's dodging animationg would make up for it :)
