Happy birthday. :) That video was absolutely terrific. All the best.

That was touching. In a sense I feel like you, but at an earlier stage. I'm 17 and still in high school, I'm that chubby kid with some bad bathing habits but I know I need to improve but lately I have no motivation to do so in those things. Which is sad. I like to draw and sing but I'm pretty mediocre at both. I to was raised in and still am In a mormon household. However, I started doubting the truth of this church and turned to atheism. I informed my parents and they constantly are nagging about some man in the sky being angry and concerned for me. And my sister which has been one of my biggest supporter of my dreams, which provided me a laptop and a good quality mic to voice act with revoked her support and love from me. I am now stuck with using the computers at school to animate and a very slow home desktop, (which I'm not supposed to be on but I get on it anyways), to check my newgrounds and my views and such. But now I'm kinda stuck with two projects and limited resources to do it. So life is pretty hard right now but perhaps if I stay optimistic I can pull through. Thank you for the video. It has brightened my life a little in this time of darkness.

Thanks man, I'm glad you connected to the story in that way. The only thing I'll say, is be optimistic. It's what turns the grey sky into one with silver lining and allows you to pull yourself out of crappy situations.

Best Draw my Life i've seen yet

Wow. Happy birthday, and that was a very good video.

NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE.
That was very adorable.

When I was in primary school I used to wet myself, which meant I had no friends and was a huge joke, snowballing into a spineless, introverted personality type who's afraid of girls. I can relate to looking in the mirror and wanting to be a different person; I did the same thing when I made a change to stop wearing glasses. Nobody ever died though, and I wasn't a mormon.

Congratulations on not having been a mormon. haha. Nah man, kids can be cruel, and we're all different, in good and strange ways. The key I feel, is accepting ourselves before we look to others for acceptance.

Happy happy birthday and that was an awesome inspiring YouTube. Best wishes.

That was extremely beautiful man.

Best of luck to you.

Beautiful story, not corny at all.. not at all.

THERES NO EXCUSE FOR NOT BATHING. CHRIST. I can understand if youre chubby, or really ugly, but for the love of allah bathe. Its totally attainable and there's no reason you should be smelly kid, RogueRobot. Also good on you jazzie, for passing things on. I do feel as the site has aged more people are in the interest of sharing their knowledge, be it with i-smels dumb production updates, or artists doing livestreams or all out tutorials. Its a good thing. The flash scene used to be very siloed when i was in my prime. hurr

I KNOW!! It's cool bro, I'm over it now. I bathe minimum once a day, and deoderant and cologne are a regular asset to my getup, so I'm a changed man. And you're still in your prime Luis. remember that. You're like a fine wine. You get better with age. But you're a fucking badass wine. With a sombrero.

This is awesome. I've always kinda looked up to you for how great your animations and art are, and this is the perfect thing for you to do. You are an animation god with an incredibly interesting, and sometimes sad, story to tell. Totally awesome =)

By the way, I heard about your artist showcase idea, and I was wondering, Do minecraft skins on Skincraft count? I have a few good ones on my page that I put a lot of effort into, but nobody really bothers to check them out, and I was wondering if you could at least check them out, even if you don't showcase them, if you just, like, commented on them, that would be really cool. =)

Thanks for the kind words

Unfortunately I'm keeping the showcase exclusively to art on the portal that is unique and varies.

Hey dude. Thanks for sharing that with us. It's good to know that I wasn't the only weird kid that drew all the time and didn't have a whole lot of friends in high school. I wasn't chubby or smelly but I was really skinny and clumsy and I was also bullied. But now I know that there were other kids like me in the world and I don't have to feel so alone. Thanks man! :)

I am 14, and I get no allowance. I would like a lcd tablet, but cannot afford one and my parents won't get one. any Ideas? I'm not allowed to even mow lawns.

Okay, now I've gone and joined this site. I'll have to figure out how to use it. I love your work and maybe one day I'll get to share mine. I took flash in college and have not been using it until I found you. I've been using Anime Studio. I'll be watching and I really liked your draw my life vid, Cheers

Happy Birthday!
