missionary work with my church in western australia, teaching and helping ppl with work and stuff. i loved it.

So will I that's why I'm making this game I told you about as a ultimate contribute to NG, but I mostly don't get to work on it much because of to much distractions as well.

I'm assuming:
i7 920.
ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58.
4x 1TB 7200rpm HDD.
6x 2GB DDR3 DIMMs.
There are only a few real 2GB Nvidia Geforce cards (a few GTX 285's and a couple select others), so it's likely 2 cards running in SLI, 1GB each, sadly only giving you 1GB of usable RAM.
Amd I'm going to assume cheap liquid cooling.
How much did you get buttraped on buying the rig?

the video card is the GTX 285. its a 2GB card. i didn't skimp :)
my brother ordered it all customed and it set me back 4k.

Did it include two 30" 2560x1600 monitors?
Did you know ATI should be releasing the 5870x2 before the end of this month?
Do you have the 1.5TB drives in a RAID?
Why a 1TB and 2x1.5TB?
Something like, say, a 250GB (for OS) and 3x 1TB (storage, in RAID5) may have been better...
Did you make sure you also got all your other goodies?
Such as a 2.1 or better sound system, a 23"+ monitor, gigabit LAN and N-Draft wireless?

Did your brother build it himself or have a company build it for him? Even then, I can only imagine a top of $2,500-$3,000 AUS. Actual value at $2,000.
i set up my computer for everything i need and i'm VERY happy. i have a 5.1 surround and a 22 monitor dualed with my LCD tablet. and crysis, yup :)
show me where it's valued at 2000 and i'll believe you coz the place we go through are very good and have great service. and the case is pretty insane too. armor+LCS.
either way, it gets everything i need done done :) well :)
