Astounding. I'm almost speechless. I watched the whole speedpainting, you are very talented. Many artists specialize in either character, foregrounds or objects (vehicles, weapons, etc). You show incredible proficiency and skill in all areas. VERY impressive work, I'm adding this and you to my favorites, for the love of god keep making more. Thanks for sharing!

thank you so much for the feature and your comment, I am very honored!
I try to focus on my weak points in order to get better. Backgrounds were always very hard for me so I tried to draw more of them and it is very rewarding to see the improvement :)
thank you again! and keep doing great art and videos!

Very nice, a good realistic representation of a human face, with a bunch of 'weird' thrown in, good job! Make sure when you bring a traditional art piece into a digital format, to be careful to let it be represented as best as it can; optimize your images brightness and contrast settings. This can be done on most scanners and cameras, or in post production in a program like Photoshop. Also your edges could afford to be more solid to give a clearer sense of shape. Those things aside you've done well and are improving, so keep it up :)

Well shaded! The style/form is lacking somewhat, which might be due to lack of reference (since dragons don't... you know... exist) and the image could stand for optimization. Make sure when you bring a traditional art piece into a digital format, to be careful to let it be represented as best as it can; optimize your images brightness and contrast settings. This can be done on most scanners and cameras, or in post production in a program like Photoshop. Otherwise great job!

Good use of composition and a well designed character, but there are a few things dragging the image down. The two main ones are 1: the background and main character are both gray, and since neither are dramatically shaded they don't stick out from one another clearly and are hard to differentiate, and 2: the chain mail looks cheap by using a simple texture underlay, it's not fitting to the form of the character himself. Otherwise you're definitely improving so keep up the good work!

:D ! Thank you so much for giving your opinion on this, I'l try and do better next time :) !

A clear representation well pulled off, though the shading feels a little timid, I imagine it would look much more impressive if it were more solidly shaded in the darker areas. Also something feels a littel off about his jaw - that aside you've done well, good use of color and an accurate representation. Keep it up and thanks for sharing! :)

Stylistically clever and clean, interesting composition and good use of shape and color. Very well done, keep it up!

StomachBug responds:

Thanks for the feedback Jazza, means a lot!

Touching/cute/cool/funny all at once, good job! Though i'd love to have seen the full-daddy-hulk in the picture. The style of the kid hulk is cool, but I feel like the potential was slightly lose in hiding the dad and skimping on detail/refinement in areas - overall a good job though, and I hope you dad appreciated it. Keep it up!

Thanks Jazza :D

Very nice, a much clearer sense of atmosphere especially when you pay attention to the details and clarity. Good colors and image composition, though a little simple overall, it's still very effective in its execution so good job :)

Very good image composition and aesthetic, you communicate a sense of doom and domination very well. The painting is well done though a little misty in places, and your color/shade balance works well. I especially like the use of minimal red in select places. Keep it up, thanks for sharing

TheSilentDane responds:

Thanks. I tried to go with a more abstract aproach doing loose brush strokes and keeping it quick :)

Nice work! Easy to recognize, well executed, though losing points for unoriginal content, you've done well overall, keep it up

ArcadeHero responds:

Thank you! :)
