this was very well made, you should be proud. the key things that stood out to me were the great camera changes and time changes (slowing and speeding) where needed. The frame by frame animation although at few times a little shakey, was overall very impressive and well implimented.

Awesome style, and a very worthy pico day submission.

my only tiffs were that you could have been a little moe adventurous with the sound effects and music, and perhaps in the demon scene when he was dodging all those stopms, add a bit more FBF to the demons leg rather then it just being a single tweened grafik...

"as good as they come"

its always great to see a 'big' animation be released, and xombie episodes are always something to look foreward to. my review is as follows:

graphics: i love the comic style and crisp imagery. the animation is fairly reasonable, but it is easy to see that your art is the strong point, not fluidity of motion of characters and any frame by frame transitions. apart from that, its amazing

style: the only zombie based series on the net with action, and good humor. unbeatable.

sound: GREAT voice talen for girge, i find it a little off-putting that zoe's voice and look seems to change with every episode though. music is great.

violence: its awesome violence and action, and good because it gets the point of the action across without being grotesque.

interactivity: meh

humor: LOVED the clip at the end. you could make a 5 minute animation like that and id laugh the whole time.

overall: you inspire me and thousands of others, and entertain hundreds of thousands of others, perhaps even millions. BEST WISHES in all of your future projects, looking foreward to the finale!

"waited too long for not much.."

i used to be a huge fan of the joe zombie series, but as i grew in taste in animation, i guess i came to realize that this has not real story. you have potential, but should move on from stick animation, it just holds people back. trust me, i know. it's a fad and people get over it quickly. you do however have good cinematic skills in how to place cameras and scenes, a great start. i guess i was just dissapointed by this movie after waiting for... how long... at least 2 years.

anywhoo, hope the finaly is better, this is an ok start

i have always been a big fan of your animations and this is no different. the only thing i didn't LOVE is the fact that there is not too much of a story, although as an animator, using this animation for reference to character motion and special effects is invaluble. keep up the great work, you raise the bar for all of us

you good sir, are amazing. i know that among these bazillion reviews mine shan't be heard, but nonetheless, i review.

graphics - 10
no matter how much i zoomed in everything was detailed to the finest degree, and being an animator myself, i know how hard that is and can only dream of one day being as good as you.

style - 10
a man who can invent a new world, a new language, new ways of seeing things and put it all in an animaton, truly has style.

sound - 10
considering in this masterwork you made all of your own music, and also hid many little secrets for people to discover, while still making it energetic is completely amazing.

violence - 8
nothing too violent, but whatever phisical activities were done in this, were done to the highest standart in characaturism and realism.

interactivity - 7
although not too much can be seen apart from stop and play, and some web links, this animation has some kool embedded scripting, telling the viewer to get the new flash player if they havn't got it, and can see if people are stealing animations off of it's site.

humor - 9
the way you put almost human emotions in characters that dont speak our language, but make the expressiveness so vivid and easy to understand makes this truly funny, with both how the characters interact with each other, and with the realm around them.

overall- 10

dude, keep it up. you really have set the bar so much higher and shown us all the capabilities of flash, and made aspiring artists like me not only admire your work, but hate our own! lol, kidding. really, you ruled this one
