There's little to comment on with a picture like this because there's little to see, visually, but for what you attempted, you did very well. The form is clear, the shading is perfect and the aesthetic is strong, keep up the good work!

Thanks, and I appreciate you putting me in an artist showcase!

The most common kind of submission people send me to consider for a showcase goes something like this: Dude with some kind of weapon, in some kind of pose. This picture is NOT that, and I love seeing new and unique things! (Not to say dudes in poses aren't cool, I draw quite a lot of them!). This is refreshing and different, your method of coloring here is different and effective, the composition maintains interest and is extreme, yet pleasing to look at. You've done really well, and I am impressed. Keep it up!

Its difficult to identify what's going on and what to focus on, but there are some interesting things in here at least. I'd like to see what you can do in applying yourself to something more themed and solid in nature. Keep it up!

I like what I see, but it's difficult to see! From a distance the mindflayer figure is really cool but hard to make out because its in pencil and far away, but when I click to zoom in, its too large and pixelly. I recommend working on your rendering and uploading methods, otherwise from the little I can see, he look really cool! Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the kind words sir! About the size... I know, should have resized it before, still struggling with the site to get it reuploaded in a un-crazier dimension.
Working on an inked, cleaner, and more colorful version of this from time to time, so I might end up sending it to you in one or two weeks if I manage to finish it.

Nice work, the colors are soft and pleasing to the eye, as is the character and his expression. The shading could be used to give him more of a solid look, at the moment, while the soft feel works in the piece's favor, it still lacks solidity. Try using different brushes, or utilizing clipping masks to maintain the edges of the piece. Otherwise, great work, keep it up!

Thank you soo much for taking the time to watch this and give me such a useful review!

Nice work! I like the interesting location and scenario here, it enables you to give the characters poses that would challenge you to draw, more than just drawing a few people on the ground or in a room. It also makes the piece more interesting and unique, great work! Your colors are good (though I'd like to see some more shading, dark and light in the areas of color), and the forms are well proportioned. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

I can't see much of the image because when I click to zoom it remains the same, therefore I cannot really see how it was painted or comment on the detail. What I can say at least, is your balance of colors and creating a painterly look (at least from a distance) is good and enjoyable, in an overall simple piece. Keep it up :)

Nice! I like seeing you apply yourself and finding enjoyment in the process of making this. Your colors work well together and the process you used to paint him seems to be solid. I will say it could look more solid, practice working on your proportions and shading and it'll come in time. Its a process, so apply yourself, keep having fun with it, and you'll surprise yourself how much you improve. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

Your work always entertains me. You do really nice stuff with your shading, its always intricate but never sporadic and careless. Also you use space really well. Great stuff, keep it up!

Nice! Your understanding of shade and color comes through clearly here, though the form feels less than solid, so time and practice and that'll improve. The shirt is in my opinion the most organic and well executed part of this piece. Great work!
